1 Aging of endoscope insertion tube

What is easy to ignore is that the concentration, temperature, and soaking time of the disinfectant have a great impact. Therefore, the care and maintenance of outsourced polyethylene hoses during the cleaning and disinfection process is very important. 2 The water vapor channel of the endoscope is blocked

Olympus endoscopic gastroscopy air outlet and water outlet channels are designed to be “Y”-shaped. The air outlet and water outlet pipes are ejected from the nozzle. The nozzle is flat and has a diameter of only a few millimeters. It can easily be blocked by mucus and protein coagulants in the gastric mucosa. Once blocked, it is extremely difficult to clear it. Sometimes the cold light source does not dissipate heat smoothly, and the operating time is too long. It is also one of the influencing factors. The failure of the operating part and the bending part may be due to the loss or elongation of the angled wire rope in a certain position (or multi-directional). This is probably related to the operating technique. Try to avoid excessive movement, excessive force, and forced rotation when adjusting the angle, causing the drum wheel to squeeze and rub the angled wire rope, causing elongation and broken wire, or failure such as prolapse of the ends.

4 The mirror surface of the endoscope is blurred and the endoscope light guide bundle is broken

When used in winter, this kind of phenomenon is prone to occur, mainly due to the excessive short-term contrast between the ambient temperature and the human body temperature. Apply warm and wet gauze to scrub the mirror body repeatedly or soak in warm water before use (preferably in an air-conditioned environment). In addition, professional mirror wiping cloth (suede) should be used when wiping the mirror surface, and other (such as gauze) should not be used instead. The reason for the fracture of the light guide beam is that the lens body is too soft and the temperature difference between day and night is too large; secondly, the diameter of the hose part is too small (less than 12cm); and then it is caused by touching or touching objects with large temperature differences when the electronic gastroscope light guide connector is unplugged from the cold light source. When the electronic gastroscope is not in use, it is best to put it in a dedicated constant temperature disinfection cabinet or in an air-conditioned environment that is turned on continuously for 24 hours.
